Sorry The Polka Dot Challenge Gran Fondo – 4th June 2006 - 7500 feet of climbing in 100 miles The Spud Riley Memorial Gran Fondo – 3rd September 2006 - is even hillier, climbs almost 10,000 feet in 100 miles info can be found here. www.polkadotchallenge.co.uk/background.aspIt would make a great goal for spring training rides

Our club has circulated the entry form for the Polka Dot challenge. I am a little nervous but at the same time quite keen to give it a go. Must get my entry into the post pretty soon. I doubt I will be challenging for the Polka Dot jersey, more like riding just to get round.

Just been on the web site, the Polka Dot (4 Jun) is now full - no more entries and the Spud Riley Challenge (3 Sep) is filling up fast. Looks like I will be doing the hillier Spud Riley after all.
