Rode this one yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ride joins together several sections I've ridden before but never really thought of putting together as a route. Thanks to Ian and Sustrans/Lancahire Cycleway for that.
Aside from the hill in Roby Mill and the gentler climb up Farley Lane this is an easy 48-50 miler. I found the wind was in my face for long periods and it might be worth trying the route the other way round to avoid this. Be aware if riding the route in reverse the climb up Vale Lane/Beacon Lane would be a real slog.
I found a number of errors in the directions on this site (I've e-mailed admin with these). If in doubt about which way to go simply follow the blue Route 91 Lancashire Cycleway signs.
Good ride - do it!

Ian, I've e-mailed the file I submitted to admin. Let me know if this doesn't arrive as I may have misinterpreted your anti-spam e-mail address.
