Over Christmas on a dry none windy day Mike and I are going for a 100 mile ride, our first and last of 2005.
We are leaving south Liverpool VERY early (7am) and following the flat country lanes via 2 towns to the other side of Manchester, were at mile 48 we hit the bottom of Snake Pass turning round at the top to come home on the same route.
Brian, do you fancy joining us, as I guess you live near the start?

Thanks for the invite guys…might be a bit long for my legs though !! The most I tend to ride is 50/60 at the moment. 70’s probably about my safe limit I reckon. I don’t get out enough I suppose, but I did do a 85+ for charity a couple of years ago with no bother I wish you all the luck anyway chaps......have a safe ride and let us know how you get on !!
Regards Brian (CycleRouteUK)
